Once again, i returned to the SW, just cannot get enough of it! Mark (C4D) and I hike 8 miles, in 50-60 mile dust storm to get here, and photographed during it, hiding our cameras in our coats until it died down enough to shoot. It was amazing, and insane, but above all to be in this place, while the sandstorm was going on was spiritual, seeing as this is how it was created!

fun, fun, fun........

Amazing and very beautiful! Hope your equipment didn't get scratched up.

I'd love to know where was this shot taken, Mike.

Great use of perspective and composition!!
Wouldn't change a thing!
Beautiful curves and textures! Excellent capture  :)
Stunning!
Love the lines carved in the rocks, leading the eye into the distance and into the sky.
The contrast between the red rock and the blue sky is simply perfect.
Thank you so very much. Beautiful place. :)

René my friend, it is more impressive than I could photograph, I can only try to show you this beauty by a photograph. Thank you very much for the comment, means alot, and I appreciate it my friend. We had the most amazing time, as we usually do, and saw some unique and magical landscapes, no place like the SW!

thank you,
m.

I can imagine that walking through a sandstorm is very trying, but it is the result that makes it more than worthwile, right?!
